Bringing out the 10th issue of CinePedia springs immense pleasure to the team of CinemaScope, an apprenticeship program of ULAB MSJ department. This issue contains ‘Cinema: the mouthpiece of art’ as the central theme of discussion. As an art form, the growth of cinema is like “indeterminate growers” which never stops. Cinema is the child of art who has crossed only 100 years; though it has become a giant in size and matured as good wine. The theme of this issue was open. Nevertheless, the writings of this issue once again indicate that talking about cinema actually reinforces its power and how effective is this as a form of art. In our family of CinemaScope, we live cinema. The cinema-bug pokes inside our heads even in dreams. Then we start writing on cinema, for cinema. Thus, the concept of CinePedia came to light. Cinemascope organizes various events including screening, film reading sessions, show and tell and so on. The discussions and arguments on cinema take us to some new perspectives along the way. I am thankful to all the members who make CinemaScope alive through their hard work and enthusiastic approach. We, the members work day and night to keep CinemaScope in a stronger position holding the dream of being the no.1 apprenticeship program of South Asia. My humble gratitude to our Chief Advisor Dr. Jude William R. Genilo for the support and guidance. I would like to thank our hardworking CEO Bidhan Chandra Das, who helps me to know how to make a publication process easy and faster. My special appreciation for our instructor Zahid Hasan Gogon who never let us to feel weak. He teaches us not only film but also how a film can help to make your life more organized. He is an irreplaceable leader for us. The person to whom we are always in debt to is Mohammad Shazzad Hossain, the advisor and founder of CinemaScope. The person who is our shelter and make us unite. And my final gratitude to the person who made the path smooth for me, another advisor Nandita Tabassum. Whenever I lag behind she pushed me forward. Thanks to her for being the strength and motivator. Though we put our best efforts, errors may still persist. I as the editor would like to seek apologies in advance for that, we would love to have constructive feedback from our readers so that we can improve in the future. I wish along with CinemaScope, CinePedia live for ages and grow stronger.
